LOL
how many of the bohs team actually have 9-5 jobs? or are a lot them them in "courses" or "college" and don't really do any work?

Surely they could have taken today off given they are not going to need holidays for a European campaign or anything like that.

He actually said they were going straight after the game, was surprised their recovery sessions start so soon after a game, but I suppose the clubs don't have a choice with 2 games a week.

Has any one seen the video of the 2 sets of fans going at each other before the game? Not 100% sure it's from last night but the Gardai start chasing them, the camera follows the Rovers fans. Some fella (in a blue top should any one be sent the clip. I was sent a Reddit link for it) is looking behind him as he's running, and runs boll*x first into a steel bollard LOL

Was there as a neutral last night and thought Rovers were unlucky with both decisions going against them.

I’m not saying the referee was wrong, they were tough calls that could have went another way on a different night.

Both teams played nice football and the only hoofing came when Carr came on which was a fair tactic with Rovers tiring.

Despite losing I think the battle that Rovers showed in the second half marks them out as potential champions.

Bohs to their credit were very good too and have some very talented young lads in midfield. Was great to see so many away fans, even if the traveling distances involved are small.

The atmosphere was fantastic and the noise generated by 1,500/2,000 rovers fans in the new stand was probably louder than the noise generated by the entire south stand at Lansdowne road at recent games.

Have been to Tallaght loads of times but not since the new stand went in. The stadium is a superb facility and the handy parking in the shopping area and the amount of methods of transport to the ground make it a model stadium for the LOI. It’s seems like the council actually works with Rovers to ensure that football thrives in the area, which isn’t the case in many other places in the country.

Overall I thought last night was a brilliant advert for the league and shows that there is great potential from both a footballing and marketing point of view.

Only downside is that more fans could have been accommodated for, I think there was too large a gap between the two sets of fans. at least another 500 fans could have attended without posing a security risk.

Hopefully Dundalk sell out Oriel on Friday and it looks like Bohs are on course to sell out another home game.

The League is certainly on the up.

Was in attendance as a neutral last night too and would echo all of those sentiments too. I don't believe anyone was refused admission last night, if nessesary I'd imagine they could have reduced the buffer zone.

They could also have taken away the netting in the first few rows of the new stand

Tough one tonight . Keep thinking Dundalk at thier best would probably batter anyone in Scotland "cept  Celtic . Sean will be called in to play defence I bet and if Ethan is ok him too . Hope Greg is fit as we will have to be strong in the middle if we have any hope of getting something out of the game . Heard the away allocation is sold out , Stephen Bradleys Green and White armyClap - Mon the Hoops , top of the league .
Im back.
