Corbyn making plenty of digs about PM losing majority: I look forward to this Parliament "however short it may be
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Corbyn gets a standing ovation and gets the football chant to his name while May sits there staying as quiet as possible.

The Sun have started the scaremongering again with a false but wishful story LOL

Farron resigns as Lib Dem leader.

Cable surely a shoo in to take over

Amazed to read that. Yes, the last 2 years didn't result in a huge swell in electoral support, but Farron has done reasonably well, Perhaps nailing the party's colours to the mast as the anti-Brexit party has been seen as backfiring?

His anti-gay comments during campaigning. Nothing to do with his policies or anything.

With the DUP hanging about, he's foreseen he's about to get tarred with the same brush as them and basically bailed it before he ends up as the media's next victim now that Corbyn is Britain's hero.

Given the numbers I wouldn't have expected the LDs to be relevant enough in the short term for that matter (which appeared to be explained and dealt with?) to be an issue any more.

I think it was more the response to it from within the party and supporters, a Liberal leader not being unequivocally sympathetic to gay rights was never going to go down well (sorry).
It is a shame as I was starting to warm to him a little bit and he seemed to be growing into the role.

Just watched what I think made him quit, his interview with Sky this morning and Sophy Ridge was more interested in asking what his views on abortion were, blatantly trying to picture him as a DUP'er, was quite uncomfortable viewing actually.

Just because he's a devout christian it must mean every one of them hates gays and thinks abortion is illegal because the DUP do.

I can't see how there won't be another election before the year is out. May has had an absolute nightmare here and it is only going to get worse with Arlene calling the shots and the realisation of Brexit. Strong and stable.LOL

Paisley Jnr saying DUP want out of the Customs Union. As I said previously never underestimate how f**king spiteful the Unionists are and this would appear to prove it.
