  • Don’t miss inside piece in which grapples with Delaney/Trap/0’Neill and assorted other new info on other matters. Cat must be in the bag now

    Trap/O'Neill angle is curious

Lads I am here to tell you these allegations are false.  I never had any dealings with the FAI or O'Neill.

Yeah I finally understand the hype. Every Sunday the first thing I do is buy the Sunday Times. I hope this turns into a 12 part season.

I'd love to know how long the journalists have been sitting on information like this. Frightening to think of the money that was being spent by the organisation that wasn't football related.

Note of concern in one of the articles saying that the ODCE will be using Mazar's terms of reference. Their investigation should be completely separate.

Given the facts as we know them about this €60k, this story has taken a sinister twist. Whilst there is no evidence on the face of previous stories of wrongdoing- it is plausible that BIK was paid on the expenses or that the monies were repaid in full though unlikely - this suggests serious wrongdoing:

    - The ex denies receiving the payment
    - the payment was made to the ex’s sisters address in the UK who has a different second name - concealment?
    - there is no evidence that Murray or Cody signed off formally
    - Delaney and the FAI have failed to provide an explanation as to the nature

Which all suggests that there were no services rendered for the €60k.
