Don't you worry this last few weeks and next few have seriously impacted his likelihood of a UEFA promotion. If Oireachtas hearing goes badly and FAI board have no option but to give him the boot then his career in football internationally is gone. 
The 100K loan could be the sinker !
The Dog may be forced to wag it's tail rather then the other way around for the last 15 years.

I was thinking it wouldn't be such a big issue, there was the Spanish FA guy that had lots of question marks over him and it didn't stop him at UEFA.

On a serious note would there not be roles in UEFA for him anyway, if he has to quit the FAI?

Not the Senior Exec UEFA positions as he has to be a current Senior Exec in his own association. UEFA and FIFA have cleaned up their own governance in the last 10 years since BLATTER/PLATINI GATE
