Front and back pages once again tomorrow.

Can’t see him making it to the end of the week don’t mind the Dail Committee. The change of role has gone down like a lead balloon

My money would be on resignation on Wednesday

Hopefully three points tomorrow and we can move on from the circus for the rest of the campaign

Anyone who doesn't care about Delaney's antics, of which more emerge every single day, does not care about Irish football. Grassroots clubs, etc coming out in support of him should be ashamed of themselves. Displaying the kind of selfish attitude that has left our domestic and international systems in such a poor state sums up all that has been wrong with football in this country for decades.

Clubs like this have no interest in the development of grassroots football, and are only interested in themselves, even if that means the status quo being maintained.

Imagine the amount of injunctions he'll try when someone decides to write a book about his time with the FAI.

imagine if the Delaney private 11, had been doing well instead of being sh*t. He’s be getting away with it because it’s only been loi and a small minority of international fans who cared. Don’t know how many season ticket holders have actually laughed down the years when I suggested money meant for football was wasted elsewhere.

Btw, has anyone answered how much was paid for that failed high court injunction? Who bared the cost to try and cover Delaneys arse?

How many times have issues around Delaney personally ended in the FAI use solicitors on his behalf? How much was paid out of the FAI coffers that time when he was singing a republican song and the Guardian were going to name him, so the FAI solicitors threatened all sorts.

The more you think about everything that has happened under his tenure, the more sickening it all is.
hired a top London law firm for the guardian one.
Again, who footed the bill?

Embarrassing at this stage. The white "Robert Mugabe" will dodge the media, deflecting any unwarranted attention and will live on to serve himself. Once this fixture is done away with, the press coverage will aim their focus back on the premiership and JD will drift into the shadows of his high tower to reign once more. This is a vicious circle going on for years, why would it change now.

Why doesn't every one wear an item of black clothing, jacket, t-shirt, jumper..whatever it is over their jerseys or kit. A few minutes of wearing it at start to signal the death or funeral of Irish football if john Delaney remains. Then remove for green and everybody can support the team? I'm going to go wearing all black myself.

Some of the suggestions on here are embarrassing and all from posters with only a handful of posts.

Use your voice when the Delaney songs get going, support any flags / banners that get in but don't interrupt the match. The mandate committee statement hit the nail on the head everyone can peacefully protest and that's what it must be peaceful.

Most importantly get behind the team tonight they'll need the supporters as the 12th man.

So do what has been done before? The only reason this has come about is because of people with the balls to demand change. Journalists who put their head above the parapet, Quinn, league of Ireland supporters etc.

Nobody is saying interrupt the match. But you sound like James McClean. Out of touch. Niall Quinn hit the nail on the head. Football has to be transformed in this country. the only way is to fight for change. In 2019 its beyond farcical that football is in the state it is in this country.

What? People on this forum, singing section members and regular away fans have been protesting at games home and away for years and years, often getting abuse from other fans and man-handling from security staff for their troubles.

Exactly Vidic, this poster has something like 4 posts so can safely be ignored. Don't feed the troll

Would a march from a designated area, say Slattery's, chanting for his resignation be an idea?

A march on his rented house wielding forks and torches would be better!!

Stay back after the match to protest is easily the best idea.

+1
Especially for a mass protest it's the easiest. Otherwise everyone is doing their own thing unorganized and probably not that noticeable (like many of the previous protests).
Now media are looking out for the protest and it's something they will be looking to report on, it would be most visible if there is a sizeable crowd hanging around after the game. Use the red cards, etc. then too
