I am trying to find the Genesis Report online.  I found what I thought was the full report and printed it out, all 44 pages of it,    https://foot.ie/inc/pdf/genesis.pdf ;    but this is the report on the Eircom League only.  Does anyone know where can the other elements of the Genesis Report be found, is there a link, particularly for the recommendations regarding governance in terms of the board, tenure of directors, C.E.O. etc?

Good piece from over a year ago from Catherine Murphy T.D. when questioning Shane Ross at an Oireachtas Committee session quoting Shane Ross's comments on the Late Late Show who said that he was "worried about any organisation that has one person in charge for a long time, anywhere there is a little kingdom being run by one person with too much power is concerning."  The session was in relation to Pat Hickey and the O.C.I. but Catherine switched the same concern to the FAI.  She is very well briefed and very knowledgeable and is quite aware of the carry on in the past years at the upper echelons of the FAI.

Fran Gavin announced a new competition earlier where the Winners of the Airtricity league would play the NIFL winners.

The NIFL just released this statement:

"The NI Football League note today’s announcement at the SSE Airticity League Launch regarding the potential formation of a new competition between the winners of the of the Danske Bank Premiership and SSE Airticity League.

We were aware that initial discussions had taken place between the Irish FA and FAI but did not expect any formal announcements at this stage.

We look forward to consultation and receiving further detail regarding this opportunity, which we will consider with our member clubs."

That is beyond f**king embarrassing.

Fran Gavin reminds me of that one lad who brags to the lads about pulling a bird on a only for her to destroy him the next time they see each other out by telling everybody he couldn't even get his mickey up, he's a bit like Jay from The Inbetweeners.

Latest News....The FAI have just announced that they will be hosting the 2030 World Cup along with England, Scotland and Wales.

Oh hold on, they need to pass it with the other FAs first.

What Fran meant to say was that he’s created the atmosphere for this game to happen.

The FAI - the gift that keeps on giving. LOLLOLLOL

If you were to approach BBC or RTE to pitch a comedy/drama series (a la The Office) based on what happens at the FAI, they'd chase you for presenting them with something so far-fetched. LOL
