But that's not transitional. That's merely extending the status quo.

You probably shouldnt overhaul the majority of the board in the short term either. They should set a time limit to make the replacements and if that means giving some an extra year to faciliate then it might make sense, that would be my point

Yeah, that's a fair observation

Any update on the aggravated assault?

Assume silence from the FAI due to being under the raps of a Garda investigation.

It wouldn’t be like them to sweep substantiated allegations under the carpet.

Nice coincidence that the former sports editor of the sun gets this fai role a month after the Sun ran an article reporting in depth on the private meeting between Delaney and fans

A very happy coincidence I must say. Especially given it was such a good news story - tickets tickets tickets, admits he made some mistake and meeting with fansEmbarrassed

I know Cathal for over 30 years and he’s no yes man plus he wouldn’t be on any guest list for jd’s parties unlike some of our most famous supporters.

A sell out; no more no less. I’m sure you could’ve said the same about Ian Mallon and he ended up chalking statements for the confederation.

Two men that have something very much in common. They were fed exclusives by the Baptist before joining the payroll

The sun did the story on the Fai requesting 2018 grant money in the first week of the year along with a load of other stories questioning the governance within the Fai.

A q&a trap that was set by Jd and Ballybrack is a non story.

The only point i made was the sun sports editor got this fai gig, 1 month after the details of JDs fans meeting were all over the same paper, with only headlines that portrayed JD in a relatively positive way. From what I hear much more “juicy” stuff was said that night that wasn’t mentioned in the paper.

And as per my original post - this all could well be a neat coincidence.

What is no coincidence is the JD meeting the fans took place around the same time of the Uefa draw in Dublin.  He was obviously terrified that there would be protests against him outside the Convention Centre.
