So much for change in the Fai . Why the reluctance to bring in fresh blood ?
Because they want to keep the people who know where the bodies are buried close at hand.

A farce if they are allowed get away with going against the government guidelines..

Surely that must be reason to withhold funding then?

Minister for Arts did that a few weeks ago with the Abbey theatre and cut their funding because of the way it's run. Why not the FAI too?

If their term is up within 2019 then one more 1 year term is maybe acceptable to allow for transitional period. Another 4 is a bit much.

But that's not transitional. That's merely extending the status quo.

Nice coincidence that the former sports editor of the sun gets this fai role a month after the Sun ran an article reporting in depth on the private meeting between Delaney and fans

You probably shouldnt overhaul the majority of the board in the short term either. They should set a time limit to make the replacements and if that means giving some an extra year to faciliate then it might make sense, that would be my point
