Reckon they were reading on here and decided that when some people were happy if the price was increased they decided to have a rethink

As I said. It mentioned nothing about renewal prices as far as I remember the CAT A renewal was €200 last season and the Children was €40 as i'm pretty sure I paid €240 to renew. Edited by lassassinblanc - 20 May 2019 at 2:59pm |

180 is about right for a category B if there is a playoff. If there is no playoff game, it is a bit steep. However, given the fact you basically need one to get Euro 2020 tickets should we qualify, they could still sell a decent number.

Yeah I'd say the lure of Euro 2020 tickets will have a few sniffing alright

Yes indeed. People have full confidence that the FAI will reward them after they have taken their money.

The free tickets will stop too which will have a big effect on attendances at future internationals and had gone completely out of control for the last few home games.

He doesn't exactly inspire confidence does he? Of course he deserves a chance but if he is out the door in 6 months I'd be surprised.

Emmet Malone and Dan McDonnell reporting the last 24 hours that the move hasn’t been met with positive reaction in political circles or Sport Ireland. You know it’s bad when even they can smell the roses
He hasn’t gone away you know and he won’t until after this stint and McGlue, Gavin, Dervan and Walshe get sent packing too. As Deise alluded to, its imperative pressure is kept up in these guys the next 6 months through the media, political contacts, lobbying league/club representatives, protests at LOI/international matches or it may all happen again before our very eyes

Agree 100% they chose to protect at the Oireachtas hearing which was their choice. They chose wrong though perhaps under pressure they could have chose to do the right thing.
Unfortunately for all those they should pay for this choice and protection of the protected one. Anyone that thinks HE is gone is wrong HE will appear and be resurrected pretty soon. The top table and board knew 100% what was going on with HIM but chose again not to speak up. I know Donal Conway was trying to get HIM to toe the line but he was too weak and too late. Clear out is the only answer and unfortunately I know a lot of these men and women have put a lot of time and effort just like me into the game but they also should have put their head above the parapet when they knew what was going on was wrong. They let the tail wag the dog for many many years now the tail is falling off and the dog still has the mange !!!

A few of the above mentioned names will be difficult to remove in my opinion unless one of the reports throws up something new. Cathal Dervan is new in his position so any wrong doing will be to a very minimum and will have only acted in such ways under instruction from the CEO. Joe Mcglue despite his actions down through the past few years will also be difficult to remove. I have been disappointed with the deafening silence from Rea Walshe since undertaking the interim CEO role and the along with the farcical Licencing systems for loi clubs she needs to address this openly which won't happen. I think Fran Gavin will move on sooner rather than later anyway. What's happening at the moment seems light years away from the total reform that was expected and needed. Time will tell I suppose.

Time won't tell unless pressure is kept on by the joe soap supporter of the game here and the people who care about it's future.
