Well he is right in terms of he took out money but it was 200£ a day totaling 2.8k so not quite the 20k

Mate of mine is an obsessive Manics fan, he's convinced he's alive. Sent him that link earlier, got the below back. Think he's long dead myself. He’s in Goa mate nailed on, he withdrew 2 grand sterling a day for 2 weeks, back in 95 28k sterling was a lot, had been reading books on faking your own death. Just jumping off a bridge doesn’t add up

He is dead. Anyone who has fantasised about disappearing has thought about suicide too, for whatever reason. His sister was on one of those BBC programmes about missing persons a few years back, I think the poor woman is just desperate for closure. I would love to think he is alive and has found a bit of happiness somewhere, but all evidence suggests otherwise.
