Fine player. Might be a little light weight but that's a grand complaint for someone of his age. Kenny probably the same. Easily fixed.

This is great news - looks a very good prospect.

Here's the U18 squad for the upcoming camp in Spain, I believe.

A fair few moved up from recent U17 squads.

Kevin Zefi gonna be with the U19s so. Thought Vata might have been the one to come up after his contribution with the U17s.

Yeah, Zefi the big omissions and being named in the 19's wold be great....they play Wednesday, so I don't get why the squad hasn't been named.

A lot of dual nationals in there along with some LOI quality. Interesting stuff. Joshua Ireland was let know by his father (at least through the media!) recently that he was keen for him to throw his lot in with Ireland.

Stephen McMullan of Warrenpoint is a lad I cant remember seeing before. Looks like he was born in one of the six counties so good on him.

Isnt he also only 16/17? So I doubt he'd be involved in the senior side for a while yet.

Three goals and an assist in an U18 match yday for Callum Kavanagh of Mddlesbrough v Liverpool. There are high hopes this lad can make it, would be great to have another addition to our young attacking options. They wont all work out so the more we have the better!

I would have thought he's far too good for the U18s now. I suspect he will play 23s mostly this year. Has had injury issues/niggles.  Ferguson Kavanagh Okoflex Vata Zefi Kenny Burns Emakhu in the LOI it's good to see plenty attacking/forward potential emerge and we won't just be hanging our hat on Parrott Idah Connolly Obafemi to emerge.

I wonder if he's miles of getting a shot in the first team squad, Middlesborough are mid table in the championship and have managed an OK 19 goals in 17 games.

Top scorers are Sporar, Crooks and Coburn with 3 goals each.

Sporar and Crooks are both 27 but Coburn is the same age as Callum.

did anyone see a squad list for the u19 squad? Are they not playing in Montenegro on Wednesday this week? I saw references on Twitter to Bosun Lawal and Jonny Kenny being out in Bulgaria with the U19 squad. The FAI website has us down to play Bulgaria on Tue 16th.

No squad list has been released. Ed McJannet also with the team. Playing Montenegro on Wednesday, and Bosnia on Saturday.
