Mark McGuinness with a goal for Ipswich today. Seems to be having a very good loan spell there this season.

Outside of Collins O’Shea the obvious ones McGuinness O’Hora doing well at Mk Dons we have plenty young talented CBs in our ranks.

McGuinness is only turned 20 a baby in defenders terms having a good time of it. He is a giant of a lad could be a real good prospect. Interested to see what follows him following this loan move as he’s playing well for them.
Yeah seems a good prospect now great experiences for him at Ipswich this year. A year in the champions next year would be decent for him and he’s like O Shea too I think he can play across the back four.

Seems it he’s a big unit and can pass the ball out too. Who knows he may even have a chance of making it at Arsenal? 👀

Wishful thinking maybe but he will play at a decent level looks a great prospect.

Omabamidele actually made his debut for Norwich today too off the bench. Great for him would love if he played for them in the FA Cup 4th round now.
Yeah you never know he might not be a million miles off the first team at Arsenal he was involved in pre season and scored then also I think. Getting game time is the main thing for him at his age but hopefully he can finish the season strongly.

Was involved in pre season and scored a brillaint header. Would be interested to see where he stands at the end of this year. If he can keep it up for Ipswich he will be doing well for the moment.

If McGuinness gets anywhere near the Arsenal team he'll be getting a call from the man in the blue waistcoat. Has been on their radar previously.

Was wondering is he English born? So your saying he might be better off not getting near it? 😂

He has already played for England at underage level, four or five years ago.

Has he not gone to Bolton?

Apologies - you are of course correct.
Hopefully he gets a decent run at Bolton but not the greatest level for him to be playing at.

Money aside, if League 2 is where he has to go to get a game, he may as well come home.

Say its just a mistake, also on his Premier league profile it says he was born in England, pretty sure he was born in Dublin.

If you had to pick a starting XI of young players getting regular game time, is this our most in form team?
I can’t think of a good young left full who is doing particularly well. Also Cullen might be considered overage for this exercise.

      Bazuna

O’Shea Collins McGuinness left back

         Cullen
  Knight  Taylor

Scully Parrott Connolly

Danny McNamara and Thomas O Connor both played left back last campaign for u21s I think both could slot in. O Connor has been on loan from Southampton at Gillingham last season and a half has played over 40 times for them.

McNamara at right back and move O'Shea across to left back.

Doyle Hayes in midfield if you want someone younger than Cullen.

Decent shouts there. Obviously Smallbone could have been included if injuries hasn’t limited his appearances so far this season

The potential of that lineup and subs is mouth-watering.
