He should avoid the Russian league like the plague. Will just be an easy target for the neanderthal element of the support over there.

Don't think so but Will Smallbone looks like he'll see some game time as our cm options are limited

Think he can be removed from best prospects thread. Maybe a new thread for former prospects who have not lived up to expectation.

Glen McAuley scores his first for Pats. Only 20 mins into his senior career, this kid is going to light up the LOI.

Anybody know how close Caoimhin Kelleher is to full fitness?

With Allison injured Caoimhin is likely to make the bench when he returns to full fitness. Klopp said yesterday that Caoimhin is back in training but not at 100% full fitness following his hand break.

Interesting to see what Liverpool do.

What's the current status with Luca Connell?

Never expected him to waltz into Celtic first team, but to go from breaking into a championship first team, getting Ireland call up to not even making Celtic bench...

I wonder what Celtic "offered" to incentivise him moving?

When Luca moved he was all about the champions league in his interviews. He’s not good enough yet to make Celtic team

Surely he was given assurances about opportunities to break into first team?

How can any club give any player assurances like that? 'Yeah, even if you turn out to be nowhere near good enough we will guarantee you 20 games a season'.

LOL

Unsurprisingly no Cullen or Coventry for West Ham and no Connell for Celtic but it’s a long season

Cullen has gone back to Charlton on loan for the season

Stop being a bell. You know what I'm getting at.

He'd be at least on the bench of a championship/league 1 team had he chosen one instead of Celtic. His currency was on on the up post Christmas. He may be young but games is what he needs now. Him choosing Celtic would seem bizarre (on his part) if current scenario persists.
