Great that he has Brian Barry Murphy as manager and McShane, Eoghan O'Connell, Dooley, Keohane, and Jimmy Ryan playing there.

Saw Nathan Tormey turned down a new 3 year Arsenal contract. Got me wondering about Jordan McEnuff's progress too. not heard much about either for a bit

If I recall correctly, Mark chose Ireland over England, whom he had represented at junior level, and NI, for whom he was eligible. Don't tell Terri.

Great header by McGuinness. Great physique on him for a young lad.

Yes, was rock-solid in an aggressive defence with Oisin McEntee of Newcastle; before the wheels came of in the Euro semi-finals against an outrageously talented Portugal team.

Yeah, Ferry, Smallbone, and Obafemi all included. The likes of Conor McCarthy and Anthony Scully can count themselves a little unlucky. Good to see Ed McGinty called up, he deserves it ahead of Kearns/Treacy who have been called into prior squads.

The options in defence and midfield are absolutely brilliant.
Plenty of choices for Crawford.
Difficult to pick 2 from Collins, O'Shea and Masterson at centre-back. At full-back McNamara is enjoying a decent start to the season in the SPL, you've Thomas O'Connor coming in off the back of a solid League 1 loan, but Lee O'Connor and Darragh Leahy will have claims there too. The biggest questions for me: Smallbone, Coventry, Knight will all be likely to start in midfield, will this mean Conor Ronan ends up on the wing? If its a 4-3-3 does Obafemi start? Does Bazunu take Kelleher's spot if starting at League 1 level? |
