Yeah true enough brianie but just think the pro's actually need a tougher challenge around the green maybe more rough deeper and thicker would be more of a challenge

Mickleson comes across as a right bitter whore in that presser undermining his captain's selection and methods, always thought that big Phil was a better sportsman than that poor form Thumbs Down

Freddie Couples surely nailed on for the captaincy next time around. Think they'd have done better if they'd had Freddie in charge this week.

Will be interesting to see who Europe go for, Monty,Ollie and McGinley have a say in who the next captain will be I reckon it'll be between Bjorn,Clarke and Jimenez
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

I'm particularly happy for Victor Dubuisson, after hearing the story of how he came from from a broken home and has found a true family for the first time in his European band of brothers.

The Ryder Cup literally changes lives for the better.

Delighted for the boy from the banlieues.

That was yet again brilliant to watch all weekend, unmissable.

We really have produced outstanding golfers and lads with class on and off the course.

Another good win for Europe with some cracking golf played over the 3 days, but as others have said in terms of drama it won't be remembered as a classic.

Was only thinking yesterday how the most dramatic Ryder Cups seem to take place in the States - Kiawah Island 1991, Brookline 1999, Medinah 2012. I think the excessively partisan crowds and later viewing (for a European anyway) also just adds to the tension/drama too.
