There was a time and a place for what Mickleson did but it wasn't directly after. It made him sound completely bitter at being left out on the Saturday.
While he was right. The timing was abysmal |

Think people are being hard on Phil. I would say he has brought this up plenty of time in private and it has fallen on dear ears. This was his final throw of the dice to get people to listen. By all accounts, the American set up is a shambles and he, and others, want to change it. Good article here http://www.independent.ie/sport/golf/opinion-why-mickelson-was-right-to-criticise-watson-30627125.html |

Harrington indicating he may throw his hat into the ring for the captaincy. Bit too early IMO. 2020 may be perfect possibly after another one or two stints as a vice captain

PK: But your Dad drove you to Donegal once for a trial?
PMcG: How did you know that? PK: It's called research. |

Patrick Reed added some much needed spice, excitement and drama to an otherwise boring spectacle yesterday.
Was great work from him and i was glad to see him win his singles match, just wish he had won it with a putt of his own to see his celebrations, rather than a Stenson miss. |

Another good win for Europe with some cracking golf played over the 3 days, but as others have said in terms of drama it won't be remembered as a classic.
Was only thinking yesterday how the most dramatic Ryder Cups seem to take place in the States - Kiawah Island 1991, Brookline 1999, Medinah 2012. I think the excessively partisan crowds and later viewing (for a European anyway) also just adds to the tension/drama too.

That was yet again brilliant to watch all weekend, unmissable.
We really have produced outstanding golfers and lads with class on and off the course. McGinley.

I'm particularly happy for Victor Dubuisson, after hearing the story of how he came from from a broken home and has found a true family for the first time in his European band of brothers.
The Ryder Cup literally changes lives for the better. Delighted for the boy from the banlieues.
