They have been fundraising for a while now (fair play I have to say). Wasn't it started so they could do up the grave. Will all of it be going to the grave or is something else planned. Cause they must have a nice few bob in the kitty by now, more than enough to do up a grave!

Pic from Night Mike Summerbee,Peter Barnes,Fred Eyre and Alan Keegan United Stadium Announcer pictured with Alan McLean from the fund.

Man City presented donated signed shirts from Sergio Aguero and Ya Ya Toure which was a fantastic donation given Patrick played for United.

Mancunian Artist and United Fan Tony Denton donated a framed and signed painting of Patrick(in Picture) which we are going to present to FC Barcelona at Camp Nou next season(80th Anniv of Patrick being manager of the Club).

The funds are now raised to restore the grave in August with a ceremony in September in London.
We are now raising funds to have a bust presented to Barcelona given Patrick's interventions during the Spanish Civil War.

Tomorrow 28th April 2015 is the 80th Anniversary of Patrick O'Connell winning La Liga with Real Betis FC.
This was the clubs only La Liga title victory to date with a ground capacity of 7,000 so an amazing achievement.

To commemorate the achievement POCMF Rep. Alan McLean will be on 'The Pat Kenny Radio Show' from 10:30am tomorrow morning.

So if you have a pint,a glass of wine or a whiskey chaser in your hand tomorrow. feel free to toast the one known as 'Don Patricio'.........................
