I hope the French win. Can't stand this stupid accent that surrounds rugger buggers.

Don't think its a French win thing, more a wanting Ireland to lose thing.
 
It could be any of the five other teams in the competion who Irelands final game is against, just so happens its France this wekend.
 
A bit of a contradiction to suggest on one hand you hope for a french win to piss off the irish rugby fraternity and on the other hand argue that the irish rugby fratenity dont feel the pain of defeat.

I was in the stadium in Gdansk and I was not singing The Fields of Athenry. However by coincidence I was outside the same stadium again today and I sang it quietly to myself. Nobody heard me.
