Don't think that'll be anything to do with this. Pitch has never been mentioned as an issue.

Yes but would they have put down a new pitch if they where intending to play there home qualification games elsewhere? I know UEFA are putting pressure on them to move but still if they have gone to the bother of putting down a new pitch maybe we can read something into it?

Its the only pitch there and every match in gib is played there so yes they would have put it down regardless
