Sad football fans crying cause a player would or wouldn't play.
Sad music fans crying cause a singer would or wouldn't play.

Now think what Baldrick would say, then PM him.

Now now lads, don't be dissing this, eire32 will be throwing the toys out again.

FFS..........I can hear the radio promos now...........words like "mighty", "great craic (God how I hate that word/spelling)" and other mulchie-isms to follow.

I'd rather go to "A Woman's Heart" gig and that's saying something.

Actor Maclean Burke, best known asFair City's Damien, is playing Garth Brooks in Fiona Looney's new play,Are you there, Garth? It's me, Margaret at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre this autumn.

Looney's comedy looks at the fiasco of Brooks' planned concerts in Croke Park last summer and makes light of all the drama that unfolded.

Speaking to TEN about starring in the show, Burke said he is looking forward to "getting the crowds going" and hopes they will have a sing-song.

Reflecting on the entertainment story that gripped the nation last summer, he said: "I think it was everyone's guilty pleasure, as everyone wanted to see what was going to happen next."

The show also stars Deirdre O'Kane as the country music-obsessed Margaret.

Asked if the play might lead to Brooks playing the five cancelled concerts in the future, Burke joked: "We'll see - maybe he'll come to the show."
