I hope he hasn't made the move primarily for his international future. Sad indictment of Mick and the staff if so.

Kelly in slightly better position than Crowley last season, as he should be playing European football at least at Feyenoord

The 3 Dutch giants pride themselves of having the best training and youth academies in the world to make up for the lack of investment in the league, I feel like he jumped for greener grass too soon

There's no point trying to judge his ability, let's be honest 99% of us have gone bandwagon'd from what the Football forums have said, absolutely none of us have said "I'm staying in because Dan Crowley is playing for Willem II today"

If he does well for Birmingham then great we can actually start some legitimate discussion on him rather than basing things about stats taken from the Internet as about 40 pages of this thread has been so far.
How do you know he had a choice? I would imagine PSV and Feyenoord watched the Dutch Cup Final, only they can tell you if they were genuinely interested. They were watching Jack Byrne once too!
This may well have been his best option.

He’s from Solihull I think, so probably wants to be closer to his family. Could have done better I’m sure

Edit: Coventry

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Is the Eredivisie not competitive?
I don’t get lads clambering for a young playmaker to move to a lower placed championship side, if results don’t go Birmingham’s way he’ll be dropped for an experienced defensive midfielder.
I’d much rather he’d stayed or tried to get a move within Holland and continued to play a decent style of football

absolute basket case of a club. I have low hopes of this move going well. Like 95%of this thread though I haven't seen him play much so can't gauge how good he is

I don't follow the Dutch league and didn't mean to imply that it wasn't

That's a fair point on bad results but it certainly improves his chances of getting into a Mccarthy Ireland squad if he's playing in England. The championship is a good test for him.

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.
