Nice Crowley-focussed highlight video here from the AZ WII game. We need to get this lad in the team asap. Wes 2.0.

Almost as if the video was put together by someone hoping to catch McCarthy's attention LOL

Pm, without constantly being negative and sarcastic - this lad can play and needs to be in or around the team.

FFS - lads like Meyler etc wouldn't lace his boots. That is a player we are lacking. And for people to say we can't throw him in at the deep end. The lad isn't a baby. He is playing week in week out in a decent league.

Also we are playing Gibraltar and Georgia

I said nothing bad about the lad! As I have said elsewhere, all serious options need to be looked at.

I hold my hands up to the first two, the last one is merely realism. When there is reason to be positive, I'll be positive!

f**k sake, we are so sh*te you should know everyone that could be linked to playing for us.

Especially creative ball playing midfielders, have we any?

I hope has the attention to detail that MON clearly didn't have.

Wasn't Mick against calling up non-UK based players when he was in charge last?

He called up Connolly when he played in the Netherlands, I remember Robbie was called up too. How many others was there? Alan Mahon? An ageing Phil Babb? Dominic Foley?

I think we can put that myth to bed so.

For my money, he's our best creative midfield option by far. Having seen the shocking distribution and confidence levels on the ball in recent games, we'd be mad not to give him a shot.

Yep. Cascarino is another one. I think he tried to get Sean Dundee to declare, who was at Karlsruher at the time. Not surd he qualified though.

How could I forget Cas! He got me a free taxi ride in Marseille!
It is rare enough we have players play on the continent for any manager to take a position on it.
