Catch the ball at its lowest point?  That's the ground.  Therefore not a volley.

At its lowest point before it hits the ground was implied rather than explicitly said.

Keane was saying Maguire sounds like a robot. Wright started mocking Keane's accent out of nowhere because their debate was getting heated. The context was a bit different. I can see the other POV, though.

what does he have against keepers.  He has a long history of having issues with them.

Bonner, Kelly, Given, Peter Schmeichael, Van Der Saar and has a bee in his bonnet about De Gea

Lavish praise for Keane both as a player and a manager from Jonny Evans in a full page article in today's Sunday Life newspaper. Evans has a new book coming out called 'Manchester United: Unscripted' which will no doubt go into further detail.

Video of him going around having a go at a fan outside the ground. It's not clear if he refused to give an autograph, or if he was signing autographs and another fan was being a dope.

Ah I think it's fairly clear in the video that the fan is drunk and mouthing at Keane.

yes the fan who took the video said the bloke seemed to take issue with Keane because he was taking too long to get to him for the autograph while he signed others.
So it seems like the only one who was being an absolute prick was the the fan.

Thought Keane caught him lovely with the “what did you have, 2 pints?”

What an odd take on the video Confused

Quite clear he was mouthing at Keane and Keane had a go back.

I read the prick of a fan took issue because he was signing a bag full of gear for the old man and he reckoned they were all going up on ebay. He had a permanent marker and a plate at the ready to get the signatures right. You never know but either way you shouldn't be hassling a former player like that when he is in the middle of signing autographs.

Surely its asking for trouble having Keane wandering around the back of the stand so close to kick off, you'd imagine Sky would be happier if he was sticking to the VIP entrances/areas

I was reading another forum and the story was that Keane wasnt too happy about signing autographs and the "fan" had a go at him for been such a 'pr1ck' about signing the autograph for the guy in the video. I suppose you would need to be there. I would have thought Roy would be able to go out a more secure entrance/exit to avoid your normal joe soap's milling around.

Professional footballers/celebrities etc are not your pals, nor do they owe you anything, let alone their time, or a response to your opinion.

More and more videos are appearing of fans overstepping the mark with celebrities and are relying on the court of public opinion to do the rest.

Say what you like about Keane but he has always been very decent to fans and kids over the years once they were not assholes. The video was clear who was acting like an entitled prick and it wasn't RK.

When Roy was manager at Sunderland he introduced a shirt signing session for the players every Thursday.
This was for local and Irish charities together with supporters.
Any player who failed to turn up was fined.
