Yup. Two of the best players in the county (who happen to be from a rival club to his own - the story of Antrim GAA right there) left the panel last year as they were attending the anniversary mass of a relative. Dawson, the manager, said that was grand, and they could meet the team at the hotel in Monaghan. Day of the match/mass, he calls said players, saying if they don't skip the mass and get on the team bus they can forget it altogether.

What an absolute c**t. And our fookin clowns of a county board rushed to re-appoint him in August without waiting to see who would actually be available next year.

LOLLOLLOL Personally I cant stand him, never could!,but hes a very good player on his day and if hes doing it at club level,I and the majority of Cavan wont have a problem with him back in the set up if it means a better chance of success,i just hope the rest of the squad feel the same!
