No, if anything I'd guess he's been well handled, assuming he's now coming onto his game.

He was dreadfully out of touch in his early appearances, a shadow of the player he was, so much so that a lot of Spurs fans were wondering whether he might be finished. Not so many doubters now, I suspect. Wink

And assuming he can get back to his best, can any team in any league boast a better front four than Kane, Son, Bale and Moura?

Shades of the days when Ardiles had a front five of Dumitrescu, Barmby, Klinsmann, Sheringham and Anderton, but couldn't defend for sh*t.

To be fair he played all the EL group matches and should have been tearing those teams apart, but it never happened.

It’s only recently he has looked a top player.
Hopefully his confidence is sky high now and he continues this form.

Have a good chance for the EL - I expect one of the English teams will win it so ideally need to avoid them in the next few rounds.

It will take a massive performance and probably some luck to beat city in the League cup final.

Before today, Spurs had already played 42 games this season - more than any other team in Europe's Top Five Leagues. Eleven of these have been in Europe.

Yet the most starts any player has had is Hojbjerg with 32 (24 of 25 PL games), just ahead of Lloris on 31 (24 PL) and Son on 30 (also 24 PL)

Good to see Bale have a good game for Spurs.
Need him to keep it up for the last few months of the season.

Fulham and Palace up next. With a good draw for the EL it’s important to put a good few wins together.

Another goal for Kane.
2 more assists for Son.
Those two are on fire this season.

Nice finish for Bale's 2nd... But Burnley are absolutely dross to watch, their left back is so out of position that even Aurier was ahead of him for that goal LOL

Some game, 4-4 after 90 mins.
For Spurs fans, Sonny is to Kane what Gilzean was to Greaves: Greaves/Kane are revered, but Gilzean/Son are loved.

(The original "King of White Hart Lane" was Gilzean, not Hoddle, btw)

Or look abroad to PSG / Bayern but can’t see Kane going abroad

Dunno about PSG, but Bayern's record fee paid is "only" €80m for Lucas Hernandez, which wouldn't come close to securing Kane and besides, Lewandowski should have another 2 or 3 years left in him at least.

But Kane might go to America?

Was listening to a podcast today suggesting City and Chelsea would be willing to paid the expected €120m fee for Haaland this summer rather than wait for the release fee to kick in next year

I'd expect Haaland to be City's priority as their next striker rather than Kane
