Sorry my bad.
Sky sports are saying he will play on Sunday and leave after that. He is missing the first 2 games of the group. |

Yeah, their first two games are Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines: not exactly top notch opposition. He'll be there for the last group game against China next Wednesday. The tournament is in the UAE so it's not like he's going all the way to the Far East.

The fact they’re facing poor opposition is a bad thing though. If S Korea go all the way to the final, he misses 5 Spurs games. Spurs will probably hope they bump into Iran or Japan very soon for a quick elimination

Only 6 odd hours to Dubai. Did S Korea win it last time out?

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Aussies beat SK in the final. SK would be expected to ge to the 1/2 at least. I’m going to the match today so hopefully the good form continues. I went to the match last season and there was over 81k at it - an epl record. A lot less demand this weekend as tickets were easily available. |

Looking forward to the Pogba Sissoko duel. Can see Sissoko getting the better of him.

Hope Spurs manage to sell this window. The restrictions on who they can bring in is holding them back.
24 players registered (with 1 less HG player so can't register anymore) and 3 of them are Janssen, Wanyama and Georges Kevin N'Koudou The fact they're free to buy anyone English it wouldn't surprise me if they went after a certain lad named Declan if he decided to switch allegiance... Probably a sore topic at this moment in time

Doesn't matter if he switches allegiance, he'll still count as home grown.

True. It's age they look at. He's U21 so he wouldn't count towards it.
Excuse that last part then!

If I was Spurs I would try to get Daniel Sturridge. Doubt Liverpool would let him go.

Just back from the match -
Swap keepers and I think that’s a 3-0 home win. I think Lloris could have done better for the goal but great strike by Rashford. Herrera was excellent but the fact Spurs created so many chances shows Man U from a defensive point of view are still poor. How many times over the last few seasons has De Gea been Man of the match. Spurs were cagey in the first half but 2nd half they played really well. I do think 3/4 shots were straight at De Gea which was just poor finishing but he did save a few with his feet that were top class - he does this over and over so it’s no fluke. Disappointed to drop points but played really well. Hopefully the injuries to Kane and Sissoko are not serious. OGS may get the job yet. Arsenal play Chelsea next so Man U could be 5th next weekend. |

Some saves you'd expect him to make. The one from the free kick was for the cameras, although he held on to it which is rare to see from a keeper these days. Some of the finishing from Spurs was poor, especially Alli's one on one and Llorente's chance at the end. Really was a game Spurs should have won. Nervous wait for them regarding Kane's injury.

Kane out until March
With Son away that’s a massive loss.

Could be wrong but when Kane was out for a couple of months last season, I don't think there was huge change in Spurs form. If they had Son I think they'd be fine. All depends on how many PL games Son will miss but I think it's only 2/3.
