Back to the League of Ireland I'd imagine. Dundalk suit his style of play most, but he'll need a serious year at home to convince English or Dutch (possibly) sides that his off the pitch antics are worth taking a punt on.

if he doesn’t get in the team, it’s a terrible move. Hopefully he settles there and Steve Clark gets the best out of hkm

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995" |

It is actually a great move for him, Clarke is a brilliant manager and will get the best out of him.

At the time he was doing well in Holland. He may not have been good enough to go to the EURO’s but he arguably was in our top 30 best performing players around that time and couldn’t have been a million miles off. I still think that he can make a decent career for himself.

So what is the real story lads. What happened at Oldham? Seems to be of the field issues and it doesn't augur well for him going forward. Time he grew up. He seems to fall out with every manager. Maybe they are all wrong and he's right!

Broke another players leg on purpose seems to be the story doing the rounds on twitter.
If true ive lost any hope for him, has the ability to be a top player but clearly hasnt got the right attitude to be a top profesional. More Anthony Stokes than Robbie Keane unfortunatley, hope he turns it around but wont hold my breath.

Not starting for Kilmarnock today. He needs a move away from there, the manager is treating him like sh*t

Checked out a Kilmarnock forum for the fans assessment. Very positive in his fleeting cameo.
"Jack Byrne will make a big difference- even on a limited showing he looked like a class act. The low pass he put through for Boyd was terrific." "Byrne looks like the forward thinking centre-mid we've been crying out for." " Byrne looks to have something about him when he came on as well, always offering himself for the pass and forward thinking when he had it." |
