Not arsed reading back to see if this has been mentioned but in the skys the limit, Del gets a statellite dish from Bronco that turns oit to be nicked from Gatwick. Its an ATC radar yoke or something. Anyway, Rodders goes to Gatwick to meet Cassandra as they had been having marital issues and booked the honeymoon suite in a hotel. He gets told her flight will be landing in ten minutes, in Manchester and the airport is in chaos. Fast forward to the end and a news report comes on the telly about the stolen dish. Raquel turns to Del and says you've brought Europe, a whole continent to a standstill. Del and Rodders then go to the balcony and the dish suddenly springs into life and an aeroplane appears and turns towards the tower block. Not bad going to get that close without being noticed when all flights are grounded supposedly.....

Awful acting/characters in OFAH:

Cassandra: Terrible actress. Her fight scenes with Rodney are plate-scraping and her punchlines just seem forced. As wooden as Pat Kenny and not an interesting character.


Mike (barman): Generally okay but like Cassandra when he tries to deliver a punchline, it's not funny. It's like he's trying too hard.


Jevon (the camp one not Jolly Boy's outing one) Awful character. He's supposed to be a Jack-the-lad ladies man and he sounds like Panty Bliss. The other Jevon was a lot better.

Brendan O'Shaughnessy: The less said about this woeful character the better. His reaction when Del jokes about the Irish carrots having potato blight sounds like the most clichéd Irish accent you'd expect to hear in Darby O'Gill and the little people.


I don't think it really works when the supporting characters are delivering the punchlines. They're there to work around the main characters though I will say Boycie is the exception and easily the best supporting character and very funny delivering the punchlines.

I know the lad he's talking about. Don't know if he is supposed to be Jevon or not. In the one episode he's in he mentions he is a ladies hairdresser
