Aberdeen and Hibernian both allegedly want to sign Kevin in the January window.

Strange career, don’t think he has ever left ourselves or Burnley down, averaged 11-12 a season over 14/15 years, think he got serious injury when Burnley got promoted first time under Coyle just after he was breaking through after few loans. Definitely think there was lower premier league/decent championship player in him but seemed quiet content to stay in comfort zone on good contract. Like with Kelleher at the min, can come in from cold and perform at high level for few games, but we will never know if he could have maintained that form over couple of seasons or full season on consistent basis. I wonder if knee injury curtailed his training and ability to play regular, if so you could see why he happy to spend most of his career on bench. F••k knows

With Hardwood-Bellis, Taylor or Beyer getting the most minutes in the centre of defence and staying injury free too. Then Egan-Riley makes the bench more and getting more minutes than McNally too. Should at least consider it because if Burnley get promoted they'll more or less be looking at bringing in a whole new defence.

Could see him staying though and trying to force his way into the squad this season. If they get promoted he'll likely be off on loan and if not could see him sticking around while the window is open and moving if he's again 4th or 5th choice.

He'll see out the last year of his contract and be let leave. Has made a good career out of being a back up player and interesting to see where he moves to next season.

whats the story with long? has he been frozen out completely now?
