St Ettiene player gets a 10 Game ban for this leg breaker. While a bad tackle and a horrible injury, I think the ban seems a bit harsh. Won't play until 2014 now!

No way is a 10 game ban deserved.It should be judged by the tackle and not the extent to which the player was injured which seems to be the case there.It's a red card tackle and nothing more.Is it a usual 3 game ban in France for red cards? |

Not too sure what the normal ban is. I'd be with you on this one, there is no intent to break his leg and he actually gets his first foot on the ball, its the follow through with the other leg that caused the problem. Red for me, with a normal ban. Hope the injured lad comes back strong as before.

Yura Movsisyan scored a hat-trick to give Spartak Moscow the win against Zenit Saint Petersburg.
 He could have scored a further two or three and came close before achieving the hat-trick but was slightly injured around the 60th minute and had to be taken out. This also makes him the #1 goalscorer in the Russian Premier League with 12 goals. So far Wolfsburg has expressed interest in Yura but I really hope he follows Aiden McGeady to the Premier League in the summer. Oh, and the reason the stadium is empty is because Spartak was punished for their fans' (mis)behavior.
