3rd round KO all over . This marks the end of Macklin in America anyway, he can come back fight barker, murray and maybe lee if wants it.

Golovkin was excellent.
A pure dominant performance, i think he would take anyone at middleweight. |

Some body shot, seems to have serious power. Staggered him in 2nd and then stopped him!
I think he would take Martinez now as Martinez is getting old

Agree. I think Chavez Jr took Martinez' heart. Murray beat him but would never have got the decisIon in Argentina. Martinez is done , still a Boxing Idol though Edited by CSCD - 30 Jun 2013 at 5:28am |

Some serious power from Golovkin. Macklin back to the drawing board , his deal is over with the promoter so I presume he will be back fighting in the UK/Ireland soon.

it was a serious punch.Macklin was in agony.Pity he wasn't able to do Golovkin any damage but he is a class act.Macklin probably shouldn't have taken the fight but he was finding it hard to get any decent fight ,would have been better off having a tune up fight and then hoping he could get a title fight against some of the lesser belt holders. |

It doesn't seem like some of Golovkins are heavy shots but every shot seems to do some sort of damage, was impressed the way he was cutting off the ring so effectively, macklin seemed to be confused by it!
Did anyone see the fights on Sky earlier on in the evening? Paul Smith vs Tony Dodson for the Lonsdale belt was a cracking tear up, Smith won by KO in the 6th.

Haye Fury fight is 100% on now. Haye posted a video on Instagram of him signing the contract
I've just signed to fight Fury on Sep 28, lets hope he finally agrees (and signs today) and he doesn't keep delaying. Word around "Camp Fire" is Fury is looking to duck me and fight Toney "The Tiger". Lets hope they are just to rumours.... |

Yeah after all his talk he would want to sign on the dotted line. More than likely will be in Manchester if so will 100% go up for it.
