Was watching a match on ESPN a few months ago that Pearce was playing in and the commentator said he was talking to Rodgers and when he mentioned Pearce to him "he looked to the heavens and responded agents ey"

What a waste of a season so. Imagine being promoted to the PL, fall out of favour because you refuse to sign a contract, get relegated and shazam you sign a new contract. Farce.

He was interviewed on Sky Sports last week and the interview stunk of a last minute "Come and Get me plea" to any premier league club.
Looks like it fell on deaf ears On a side note Stephen Hunt was interviewed the same evening doing the same thing but he mentioned clubs - Palace and Hull. |

Read an interview and he stated if it could be done, he'd rather stay on at Reading. Any interested clubs must have fell by the wayside.

I still like the look of Pearce. Its a position where we are seriously short of options. I hope he has sacked his agent if the whole shambles was his fault which appears likely.

On livescore it shows he was sent off just after the penalty? Surely it was the penalty incident, unless he was still complaining?
