I realised that 'West Ham are massive' (or Tottenham get battered') chant derives from Rotterdam by the Beautiful South.

Looks like the amers are splashing the Rice money.

They have held talks with Man U about buying Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay.

I think/hope Conor Gallagher is the target, first bid shot down, my thinking is that they're using McTominay to play them off each other and hope one accepts €40m. Would much prefer Gallagher. The Fulham lad had a bad injury which probably rules him out.

Can't see why. 8th in the league and topped their Europa League group. Last season they only finished the league with 40pts and already have 27pts after 17 games.

Don't think so, flying in Europe again, great wins against Wolves and Spurs this week, favorites to beat United to the weekend. Doing exaclty what we could have wished for (Fulham game an outlier IMO)

Bad night last night. And a really poor performance to boot. I still think Moyes will be beholden to his contract, and until it is renewed I dont believe he will be there beyond this season. That being said, the season is going well, and Rice hasn't been missed.

Looking at the league table, they’re as high as they could ever expect to be. I know there’s a lot of unhappiness with Moyes but I think it’s a case of be careful of what you wish for them.

I’d say he’s on borrowed time. The repeated Top 6/7 positions and European performances have kept him in the game. An exit from Europe and finishing outside the top 10 would end it. His contract is still up for renewal.

You get the sense that West Ham fans wouldn't be too disappointed to see Moyes leave/sacked. They've had a bad few weeks but their current position and a European run is their absolute limit and it's a case of they should be careful of what they wish for.
