It's brilliant. Gets a bit of hate here and there mainly because of James Corden and people's dislike of him but I personally loved the Smithy character and also plenty of other crackers. |

Its on the 4OD player too. Phoenix Nights is incredible. BBC are currently re-showing Early Doors on Saturday nights. Highly recommend watching it too. Genius comedy.

The Rig. Episode and a half in i don't think ill go back to it. The acting isn't great and the story line a bit ridiculous. Meh!

I watched the first series of Counterpart.
I’m not 100% on it. It’s a good concept but it can be a bit hard to follow as it has the same actors playing different versions of themselves, crossing back and over a portal. And for some reason it is set in Berlin, which plays absolutely no part in the story, other than to have two or three sentences in every episode spoken in German, but the rest of it is all in English with American and English accents. |

Heard it's good. Almost finished season one of the Mayan's. Not bad.

Mayan’s doesn’t have a patch on Sons. The Rig has a good cast but the supernatural aspect turned me off. Break Point is decent. Lack of rivalries mean it’s not as good as Drive to Survive. The likes of Wolff and Horner and the other Team Principals really add to it. There’s no one like that for tennis players. The Bernie Madoff doc on Netflix is worth a watch.

The Rig looked sh*te enough from the trailers TBH. You can tell that the acting and dialogue is going to be dodgy from the few snippets of dialogue in it. I don't know what it is with a lot of British actors in British shows but you can't get past the fact that they're acting; it's not as easy to immerse yourself in something as it is in American productions.
Watched the first episode of the John Wayne Gacy true crime series on Netflix. It was very good. Only three episodes as well so it isn't dragged out.

Its British soap level acting and dialogue, switched it off after 20 minutes or so.

Watched ep1 earlier, it’s actually so stupid I think I’ll continue with it to see where it goes.
Good cast, some rubbish characters and a ridiculous story line. Will report back when finished.
