the rest of the series is different to the 1st episode. The first episode is much more frivolous and jovial. It really changes in episode 3 and 4 imo.

I actually woke up at 3am distressed after watching a bit of 'It's a sin'.
If your mad in to extreme gay porn and men rimming each others filthy arseholes then you'll enjoy it.

Jesus lads are you that allergic it’s not graphic at all and you see very little. If it was a man and a woman it would be soft porn at the very most.
If that sort of stuff offends you, you need to take a look at yourself. It’s probably similar to normal people in the level of nudity of what you see and I would say normal people is more graphic.

You don't think a lad licking another mans dirty ass hole is a tad too much for TV? It just wasn't for me.

But you don’t see that. You just know that’s what they are up to similar if a guy was licking a woman. Wouldn’t bother me a jot. It was shown at night after 9pm on C4 so don’t see the issue. I have seen far more graphic heterosexual sex on tv. Did you think that was too much also. You have missed the heart of the show if all you are focused on is the moments where the characters are having sex, you don’t see any erects cocks, or I didn’t notice any, maybe the scientist was in it.

It's a sin was very well done and quite thought provoking. The gay sex scenes were uncomfortable watching but only featured in the first two episodes. The performances were excellent especially the central character. Odds on for a Bafta. Stephen Fry had a wonderful cameo role, the scene where he was fretting over The Lady's visit were hilarious. Also watched Zerozerozero, good yarn especially the Italian element and very relevant with the Ndrangheta maxi trial going on at the moment. Watched an episode and a bit of Hotel Cecil before giving up on it. It was very repetitive and slow, although I did learn about Skid Row in downtown L.A. which I wasn't aware of. Hardly the American dream. Would recommend a German documentary series on Netflix called a A Perfect Crime about the association of the business man behind the carpet bagging of GDR industry after reunification. Also, I enjoyed Russian Doll...

Are women's arseholes magically cleaner than men's? Judging by the state of women's public toilets, I'd guess not. The Deuce was a good TV show and Cruising is one of Al Pacino's most underrated movies. Both feature pretty explicit scenes of gay sex. I'm comfortable in my own sexuality so it doesn't bother me one bit TBH. If the story being told is good, that's all that matters. In saying that, I'd say Queer as Folk was awful sh*te, but that doesn't have anything to do with the subject matter.

Finished it’s a sin. It isn’t bad. Wouldn’t say it’s great though. Full of tropes and cliches. Prefer my dramas grittier with more nuanced characters.

Someone is screaming in the closet. That's a far appraisal of what I have seen, Citizen. I just found it full of stereotypes and incredibly dull.

Don't know if these have been mentioned already but I've found them all to be a good watch...
1) "Snowfall" on BBC iPlayer about a young lad who comes from the suburb's in LA in the 80's and starts dealing Cocaine then figures out how to make Crack to make it more affordable and all this is aided by a Government CIA Agent who is using the money to buy arms for the fight on communism in central America... The main kid does a very good accent considering he's from South London. 3 Seasons with Season 4 coming out this week FX/BBC? 2) "Suburra" on Netflix, Italian in subtitles (not sure if you can switch to English dubbed) Set in Rome about local gangs, gypsies and Sicilian Mafia wanting to rule areas and buy land to expand their operations for importing drugs whilst relying on the Vatican and politicians to obtain the land. Plenty twists and turns of betrayal. 3 Seasons, Not as good as Gomorrah but similar in how it try's to come across. 3) "Inhuman Resources" French series with a surprisingly good performance from Eric Cantona as the main lead! Gets a bit daft at the end but worth watching. 1 Season |
