It's good alright but probably could have cut it down by an episode or 2. |

I watched the film again the other night as herself had never watched it and it really is superb. McDormand is incredible in it.

Haven't watched Fargo (Film or TV series) but it gets good reviews from most people so I'll have to watch it.

Watched the first twenty minutes of Brittania on a dodgy link the other day, I'm on Virgin and can't get Sky Atlantic, and it may be the worst piece of television ever made, I include Kirstie f**king Allsopp and Top Gear in this. As you correctly say, it had potential, but they seem to want to make it some sort of uncomfortable comedy, at least I assumed that was what they were trying to do. It really is dreadful. Things I have enjoyed lately have been 'The End of the f**king World'; a brilliant dark comedy although I felt the ending was a bit of a disappointment ; This Country, an easy watching mockumentary with some really funny moments; Mum, an easy going BBC comedy that is probably a little bit too poignant and clever than funny, it is enjoyable nonetheless; Fargo, I have just started watching this and it is quickly becoming one of my favourite shows of all time. It is every bit as good as the wonderful film, clever and witty and always entertaining. I'm also really enjoying Auf Wiedersehen, Pet again. The channel 'Yesterday' have been showing it from the start over the past couple of months and, some of the dodgy Fagin songs aside, has aged really well. As a man who loves a list, this definitely makes my all-time top ten. The theme tune to the third series makes up for the earlier cheesiness, even if I somewhat enjoyed it in a strange way.

Watched Britannia on Sky Atlantic. Had a bit of potential but it's terrible.
The Defiant Ones on Netflix is good, about Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine selling Beats to Apple and goes into their backgrounds/earlier careers.

Watched the first part of a documentary on a murder in Bournemouth 15 years ago on BBC 1 last night, Unsolved.
Think it was on BBC3 before. Very interesting and can't make up my mind on whether the man in jail Omar Benguit is guilty or not. Final part is next week. |

Great cast, great script and the right mix of being clever and being silly. Typical of Linehan's work really.

I think it’s the combination of great characters. Moran’s dialogue and use of the English language in the show is amazing. |

Manhunt: Unabomber, on Netflix is brilliant. about the chap who was posting bombs to random people in the US back in the 90s. is a bit topical again considering the same thing is happening again in the US
