There’s light.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Ever think you’re blinkered towards judging players of an English nationality?

Two of those players named were among the best performers of the last Euros.

Surely I would have mentioned Foden if that was the case? I call it how I see it.

Maguire and Shaw also had great tournaments doesn’t make them good players.

You aren’t quite as bad to include Foden

Walkers been brilliant for last couple of years, not sure what you’ve been watching tbh.

Sterling was player of the month for December in the league. Bounced back to form after a few months of being out of form.
Top player

Grealish has had a slow start at the club, never was convinced he was what City needed. His greatest strength at Villa was winning frees. City don’t rely on set pieces, he was the main man at Villa running the show from a central position.
No doubt he’s a good player and probably will come good at the club under Pep

Lucky win on Saturday. Flat first half, upped it in the second but still took a big error from Keane to get a goal and then a lucky call with the non awarding of a penalty to Everton.
On first viewing in real time I thought Richarlison was offside. If he isn't then its a penalty.

The performances have been poor since around Christmas.
Liverpool are flying and City's run in looks tougher.
This could be City's year to throw away a title after leading

Maybe one for the unpopular opinions thread, but now Liverpool have their full squad available and no injuries, plus the addition of Diaz, I think their squad is better than Citys.

City regretting that they didn't come up with an extra £50m for Kane during the summer?

The guy's been playing out of his skin lately, even in a (mostly) second-rate team.

In some games they’ve really lacked a striker. Some times their play is slow and passive and doesn’t really go anywhere, countless crosses into a box which are headed away by defenders

Fancy them to get Haaland this summer

Really????you’d have milner, chamberlain, origi, joe gomez,Curtis Jones and Minamino ahead of ake, mahrez,Jesus, grealish, ferindino and gundogan....very strange post.

Thought city looked leggy in the Everton game but never doubted that the goal would come.performances may have been a little under par but results are what matters and they’ve been good.the one thing this team is capable of is going on winning runs and if city get over the next 4/5 games without defeat then the league is in the bag.also another master stroke by pep is his ability to keep players fresh for the right time...

Liverpool will find it hard from now on in with games every 3/4 days.....they’ll have to play their strongest team in the vast majority of those games and that could be costly.

Have only seen the goal once and may need to look at it again but was there not a deflection on the cross which took it away from Keane causing him to set Foden up for the goal?

It wasn’t that bad a deflection I didn’t think, you’d see defenders able to deal with it most times.
His weight all went on one side and he was too slow adjusting his body to deal with it

Well they had Jota, Firmino, Konate and Thiago on the bench on Sunday. I know Thiago got injured in the warm up but he starts on the bench most weeks when fit. Some strength.

If you went through the two squads overall there wouldn't be much in it.

Goalkeepers and CBs pretty much even - Liverpool have better full backs and forwards whilst City have better midfielders. But yeah there's not a whole lot in it either way.

In the 6 games against Spurs, Southampton and Palace this season City have 0 wins and picked up 3 points from 18

That’ll cost them the title

3 bogey sides for city over the last few years...can’t complain about tonight,it was just one of those games.palace defended for their lives and city just couldn’t get the goal after throwing the kitchen sink at them.pressure now jumps to liverpool on Wednesday....

Palace had some good performers
The young centre half on loan from Chelsea who’s the captain and the left back Mitchell especially I thought

Bernardo and Cancelo really had games to forget

Momentum all with Liverpool now, don’t have much faith in Arsenal getting anything on Wednesday
It’ll probably be 0-2 after 15 minutes

City have scored around 500 goals this season and Grealish has contributed to about 4 of those! Mad what £100m can get you these days.
