Its that kind of league this season. Liverpool were top for long periods despite losing 7-2 at Villa and failing to even score against Newcastle, Burnley and Southampton.
United were top for a while and have been unconvincing for long periods of the season.

No team has been outstanding

So not looking forward to watching City tomorrow at 6pm .
I think at this stage as someone said " it would be easyier to forfeit the game as we would only lose 3-0 " Goodness they have a point .

It’s always been a tricky game for city aswell.....I’d take a 1-0 og...as long city win.

On a side note, the bbc’s hate towards city is sickening.......Jesus a stone wall peno tonight.it’s totally overlooked and then the commentary says “good solid defending”.

Any word of Hans coming back?
Have to say i've missed his assured predictions for how seasons would turn out, certain that it would happen. I wonder who he'd have tipped this season

He'd probably still be certain that United won't finish in the top 8 this season!

City were class from the kick off make no bones about it . As for the Pen JB he made a real meal of it  maybe that went against him , now Tarks did touch him on the foot but we went down like he had been shot with a double barrel shotgun from close range .

Tbf, that would only be because he had Liverpool down to occupy the top sevem positions.

Great man for bumping posts.

We could all do that with the drivel you’ve written (Stones, Rodri etc) but luckily we’re not all as childish as you 😂.

Still a long way to go but I'd be surprised if Man city don't win the title this season.

I agree with Artie, I think he’ll try to keep it very tight with one eye on not getting beaten
A bit like he did the time Mahrez missed the late penalty, very rigid formation that day in a 0-0 draw, or even at the Etihad earlier in the season where he seemed to settle for a point from about half time

Pep has changed this season. He didn’t seem too downhearted about drawing with Liverpool and United earlier in the season in games that were there for the winning

I forgot about De Bruyne's absence and I'm sure City would take a draw but without the crowd there and  Liverpool's first choice CB pairing missing, it has to be City's best chance in years to win at Anfield.

All the pressure is on Liverpool to win whereas City can afford to settle for a draw.

Paddy Power paid out on city a week or so ago for the league not sure what type of price they were from start of season and through it but would imagine a nice few wagers collected.
