Bring back Shaun Goater. I hear Bradley Wright-Phillips available on a free too.

Like Kane situation at Spurs, who is going to go to City to spend majority of big games on bench behind Aguero? As back up, Jesus has 50 goals in 113 appearances, not going to do much better than that for a back up striker.

50 in 113 is an incredible strike rate for a back up striker. If he was doing that as a starter at say, West Ham, he'd be going down as one of their greatest ever players.

City now the most valuable football club in the world after today's investment, and the second most valuable sports club in the world after the Dallas Cowboys, Sky are reporting.

He’s also in the Brazil first team.

Do you think Pep trusts him tho? When Aguero goes will Jesus be No1 or will he still be No2?

I believe that when Aguero leaves, Guardiola will be gone by then, so it's a question he won't need to figure out about Jesus. Personally though, I hope Guardiola hangs around for a few more years because he'll fix those issues in the team next summer if he does stay, and City vs Liverpool over the next few seasons will become an incredible rivalry.

On Jesus, I think he's a brilliant player. A different striker to Aguero, but has some brilliant strengths to his game. A couple of years ago it looked like he was going to take over from Aguero as the main striker, but he had a rotten season last year after coming back from the World Cup. I think Guardiola lost a bit of faith in him then. I don't think it would take much to win that back though, as Jesus is definitely capable of being a top player for City imo. Obviously with Aguero there, it's tough to prove that consistently though.

I think Pep will see out his contract and leave at the end of next season
He’ll know Liverpool have one hand on the title the way things have gone so far this season and will want to win a third PL title next season and then bow out

He hasn’t been great recently after looking class in his first year or so there.
He has potential no doubt. Does a lot of good work off the ball that Aguero doesn’t do as well

A key period coming up for him now that Aguero is out to see how he leads the line for a run of games

I would agree, he's not the finisher Aguero is but he has more to his game than that as you say. I think he's still very young, he's not playing consistently and is off the back of a season that dented his confidence badly imo. I think he could turn out to be an incredible player for City for years to come if managed correctly.

If they did sell Aguero you reckon they'd end up signing someone else to replace him anyway, tough for Jesus to lose the "I'm the backup striker" tag

Haaland hopefully to replace Aguero

They’ll def sign someone, can’t have one striker (although they did not replace Kompany)

Haaland is not a patch on Jesus.

Why is Brava still the 2nd keeper? I would have thought he would have been long sold after that 1st season. He was so sh*te - wasn't there stats that he would concede every second shot on target or something crazy like that.

Was surprised to see him play again there recently

A seriously over-rated squad.

11/4 favourites for the champions league, joke price. Similar to this stage every year, and they get nowhere near it.

Haven't had a good left back in decades.

They were very close last year. Should have knocked out Spurs. Llorente's goal was dodgy and Sterling was unlucky.

They'll either win it or go close again this year. I think the only teams who could trouble them are Juve, Bayern, Barca or Liverpool.
