This evil fcuker was facilitated by higher ups in Man City & Crewe who looked the other way, and there is no getting around that. Football is a small, insular world, and seemingly everyone within the game knew there was something dodgy going on (admittedly, probably not the extent of it, the police have received complaints from nearly 900 individuals).

I read one report/interview with a victim where Bennell turned up at a Man U youth game, it was in Ferguson's early days as Man U manager, Ferguson immediately told security to 'get him off this property'. This was a man who had only arrived from fcuking Scotland, and yet he knew enough already to know he wanted no association with him. Whereas Man City & Crewe gainfully employed him, and supposedly didn't know anything. Absolute bullsh*t.

As bad as Bennell is/was, any one who helped cover it up is far worse IMO.
