Alderwereild is out injured, Sanchez is still suspended and Lloris has looked a little ropey of late. I think they could struggle at the back against a City team that will be nearly back to full strength at the weekend. Having said that Mangala is clearly a liability so he could be the chink in the armour they can target. Kane could get a lot of joy against him.

2 fookin league points dropped with only one game to play until the mid point of the season. All the while, they are playing sensational football. This City team are incredible in fairness to them.

These are the records they are chasing now:

Most wins in a season (38 games):  30 Chelsea 16/17
Need to win 15 out of the last 21

Most goals scored in a season: 103 Chelsea 09/10
Need to score 52 in the last 21 games

Most points in a season: 95 Chelsea 04/05
Need to get 47 points from the last 21 games (Avg of 2.2)

Are they actual league records, or just premier league

That's fairly impressive that Chelsea have those three records - and all from three separate seasons! Having said that I would be surprised if City didn't break all three this season.

It's a bit like the LOI season...They'll sell their best player Fabien Delph in January and crumble!

Never a 38 game top flight season before, was there? I think they were mostly 42 game seasons.

Just premier league records otherwise you are comparing 38 v 42 games

However they may even beat some of the old records -

Liverpool in 78/79 P42 W30 D8 L4  which would be 98 points in todays money

Aston Villa scored 128 goals in 1930/31 over 42 games.

Tottenham in 1960/61 won 31 games over 42 games.

They only conceded 16 goals in 42 games I think breaking Leeds record.

In the very first season ;

Preston NE ; Played 22 - won 18 and drew 4
Goals scored - 74 (equates to 128 in todays money)

And equates to 31 wins out of 38
and 100 pts over 38 games

Spurs will be happy only 1 down at half time.

Should bring on Lorente and go more direct. City are too good in midfield to play through them.
