I've noted all the different systems he has used. Losing Mendy definitely hurts that back 3 wing back system though as he has tried Sane there before and it hasn't worked. Danilo is a very different kind of player to Mendy so that system may not get used nearly as much as it was in the opening weeks when Kompany Mendy and Aguero were all fit and firing.

The 3 forward of jesus, sterling and sane is the best system to watch imo. It has everything. If they keep all the players in such a starting 11 fit, they will destroy all the canon fodder in the PL. Hard to stop them from there really.

Away to West Brom next week with 2nd v 3rd playing each other.
And Chelsea really should have lost today.

Only 1/4 way through the season but Man City have set the bar very high.

The biggest risk is more injuries to key persons.

It was interesting to hear almost every single English pundit last season destroy Guardiola and his passing style of football. 'Yerra yerra sure that won't work in our tough English league' or something along those lines from every single one of them. Where are those lads now? LOL

If City get luck in running with injuries, which they haven't so far, this could be the biggest blowout of a top flight English season in a long long time. Really hope that Spurs or someone can spark soon though and get a big winning run together to keep the interest levels up.

The biggest signing of the past few seasons, not even this season, is the keeper Ederson. He looks really solid, his reading of the game behind a back line that moves all over the pitch is superb. That will always spread to the defence and especially the centre halves. They no longer have to worry about what kind of mess the eejit behind them is going to create!

It cannot be underestimated how much Bravo hurt them last season, and obviously that is on Guardiola.

Otamendi has been solid, really good at times with the odd mad moment thrown in. Would agree that Stones has looked exceptional so far this season though.

Can’t understand the fuss over this city penalty yesterday
The replays clearly show that the keepers right knee catches Silvas right foot when Pope slides on his knees for the ball

And how good is De Bruyne? He's been ridiculously good this season.

Only really noticed Be Bruyne at the 2014 world cup when there was no hype about him. Looked a very handy, mobile player without sticking out too much.

Have always been impressed by him.

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

A knee landing on your metatarsal could be painful, given how flimsy the boots are these days.
