Unreal performance tonight
Had it been a boxing game it would have been stopped long before the end 1-0 totally flattered Chelsea Ederson, Walker, Stones and Delph were superb |

City looks unstoppable today -
I know they started last season similar but I think this season they will last the distance. Peak City is the best team in the league. |

In their winning start to last season they beat the weaker teams in the league
This season they've already beaten Chelsea and Liverpool They didn't win many games against the other top 7 sides last season, 2 out of 12 in fact |

You absolutely battered Liverpool and Chelsea. I was impressed with stones yesterday. I thought central defence would be your weakness this season (again) but no issues so far. Great game to watch and if they play anything like that all season they will win a trophy or two! |

I could watch that KDB goal all day
Took some skill to hit a shot with such power with his weaker left foot while running at that pace A beautiful goal |

Probably doesn't get much sweeter for KDB after the way Chelsea treated him and Courtois riding his ex

Scoring the winner against the team Mourinho currently manages might top that. |

got to say, Chelsea setup was perfect for city and their speedy counters. complete negative tactics out of conte, something that a certain mourinho would be labelled with "parking the bus again" comments. pep has got a good vibe going on with the big cheque-book signings, and the way david silva is playing you wouldn't think he's past the 30 years of age mark

He's only 31 and has kept himself incredibly fit. Consummate pro.
Surprised when i learned he had 115 caps for Spain. Had no idea he had that many.

Delph has been really good in left back the last two games, but I have my doubts that he can keep it going all season. I think Mendy will prove to be a big loss somewhere along the line.
Ederson has looked a total class act so far. Brilliant with his feet, fearless, good on crosses and seems a decent shot stopper |

Agree Ederson has impressed. I'd say Pep will be looking at bring in someone in January for cover for left back even if only on loan

Brilliant performance from City at the weekend - definitely the most complete and impressive display I've seen so far this season in the Prem. It's going to take more than a couple of injuries to stop this team winning the title. Chelsea really struggled once Morata went off - they pretty much couldn't get out of their half for long spells and Hazard looked lost trying to lead the line. City probably would have won anyway but it was the decisive moment in the game - after that they had no striker and they also lost the positive influence of Hazard who became completely ineffective when pushed further forward. Conte clearly still doesn't trust Batshuayi in the bigger games - either that or he plumped for the more energetic Willain to try and stem some of the City attacks. It didn't work in any event.
I've seen nothing so far this season that will revise my pre-season prediction of City winning the league and KDB winning Player of the Year. He's an absolute joy to watch and the fact that Mourinho allowed him to leave Chelsea is just baffling.

Probably the best team to watch in the EPL.
Pep seems to have 'his' team now. |
