He played quite well tonight and scored but would like to see him play for the international team in a friendly before i would say he is a world beater .

I doubt he'll have to be a world beater to pick up a load of caps for us |

For Hoolahan place i think O'Kane is the best of the bunch another one is PILKO, he plays there too, Judge is more like A WINGER LIKE MCGEADY ../..... Another option is playing MCCARTHY further on

You can throw in Arter and to a lesser extent McGeady too. I'm only mentioning McGeady as O'Neill played him there against Georgia (2nd half) and Germany. |

Be nice to see him get a decent run in one of March friendlies as he's been one of the best attacking performers in the Championship this season with a lot of sides rumored to be looking at him in this window.

Burnley are willing to pay £6m for James Tarkowski but aren't willing to pay £8m for Alan Judge.
Can either laugh or cry..

£8m for Judge would be a huge price, regardless of what others are going for

Considering the fact that Brentford had by far the worst defense of any of the teams contending for promotion last season, allied with the fact that that their defense is curtailing any hopes of them challenging for promotion this season I find it strange how Tarkowski's market value is greater than Judge, who is one of the leading scorers and creator of assists this season.
Maybe if Judge was British there wouldn't be this reluctance to pay "over the odds". £8m seems like a lot but when you consider how much money has been exchanged for players like Ross McCormack and Jordan Rhodes I think it is adequate.

Player values aren't relative, there isn't a gold standard. There are umpteen reasons that effect a player's value, it cannot be used to compare ability.

Yes and also the 21 million being touted for Berahaino as well, because they are both stupid fees. I don't see how I used them as a comparison? Sorry, just really missing something here. |

Simply has to play a part in the friendlies in March. Easily the player who most needs the chance to show what he can do, with all these excellent performances we still haven't seen him play for us yet, that has to change.
