thats four draws in the last four home games that ought to have been four wins. Don't know what Mourinho can do when his team just isnt finishing the chances they're creating. Also not a hope that Conte or Klopp would have been sent to the stands

Cry me a river, Wenger got sent off for doing the exact same thing at Old Trafford last season.

As for "I don't know what Mourinho can do" re finishing chances, when you spend over a £150 million in the summer you'd expect a better return on your investment.

Easy deflect and point the finger instead of manning up and realizing this United team are bang average.

Pogba has been extremely good for the last couple of months (United's best player along with Mata), Bailly before he was injured was United's  best defender, Zlatan hasn't reached the heights that he did previously at PSG but with 9 goals in 19 and a handful of assists has had an ok start to his United career. the Mkhitaryan situation is puzzling to say the least but the new signings have done well.

What does thinking they're bang average have to do with it? I can't picture any fan of any team saying "we created 10 chances in that game and still only came away with a draw, but it doesn't matter because we're bang average" The team has dropped 8 points at home that they shouldn't have, which has very little to do with how good or bad anyone thinks they are. They're creating enough that they should be winning games, and yet they're squandering what they create at a rate of knots. In a situation like that, I personally don't think the blame ought to be laid at the manager's doorstep.

If the team were getting outplayed week in week out like they have been many times over the last 3 and a half years, it'd be a different story

Drawing 4 home games in a row when creating numerous chances but not being clinical enough to finish them tells me your team is average.

The really good teams find goals from everywhere.

The results are the bottom line but don't always tell the full story. Look at Ireland's first four games and if you look at the points total it looks that we've had a comfortable run of games and are dominating the group. In reality, the post/crossbar has saved us at vital moments away to Serbia Austria & home to Georgia and we've only played well in patches if we're being honest.

There has been a marked improvement in the last 4 games for United but it's not going for them at the moment. It's hard to be too critical when they're actually playing well. Their movement is a lot better and there's more support upfront with the midfielders making clever runs in behind the defence.

Since October 1st United are #1 for shots taken, #19 for goals scored & #20 for conversion rate of 3.3%

Everton away next Sunday is a tough game too.

Can't see United finishing in the top 4. No chance.

Funny thing is if he just pulled his leg away and stayed on his feet he'd have gotten a free as Nolan swung fairly wildly. He deserved his yellow.

LVG sat on his arse for two years and people moaned. Jose is up giving it welly and apparently that's not right either!!!
He kicked a water bottle...any other manager does that they stay on. Wenger be throwing them around the place every week and nothing is done ffs

Can't recall Klopp or Conte kicking any water bottles in their time in England yet

The United-Mourinho siege mentality is taking shape nicely

So do you think he should have stayed on his feet and let Noble clatter his shins with the wild swing he took?

I can see how people say it's a dive but I can also see him moving his feet to avoid contact. It's a dive for me if Noble doesn't try and hack his legs off but players shouldn't be getting punished for avoiding reckless tackles.

Bottom line is Bhob he still theatrically threw himself to the ground and deserved to get booked.
I don't have much sympathy for players who don't get a free /penalty if they exaggerate a challenge whether it's fair or not.

Your point was he went down far too early which is clearly wrong.

So it's ok for players to make wild challenges as long as they don't make contact? Also players shouldn't try and get out of the way of said wild challenges because it's diving?

If you watch it incredibly slowly he might just have tripped himself a bit, mainly due to trying to avoid Noble's leg, the second from bottom stud on the right gets caught in the fifth stitch of sock, Im surprised it wasn't highlighted.

Watching it in real time it looks like he threw himself to the ground theatrically. He doesn't need to do that if he wants to avoid the tackle.
