Yup. He actually said that. It’s no longer arrogance, just delusion as to Man United’s status. What does he expect, a title tilt? Arguably, the easier path for a club like Man U to get CL football is via the EL. Two years after parting company with OGS, they might actually be worse off.

Too many superior teams in the EL anyway so they wouldn’t have won that anyway!

Rio is a prize prick. A super footballer no doubt but he is an absolute arrogant bell end. I loved him claiming credit for Ronaldo re signing for United as I was pretty sure it wouldn’t work out. Delighted for him.

Why’s Neville complaining about the timing of this?

The biggest difference for me is the hope that Radcliffe will put football/sporting people into the positions thst are in charge of football decisions

No united fan can argue money hasn't been spent in last 10 years but can have some form of argument that money wasn't been spent right in terms of a long term plan etc. Personally I have the belief certain players were been bought for their commercial value instead of the improvement they would make to the squad etc

Ex managers are on the record as saying Ed woodward who was ceo for large amount of them years as having " no knowledge of football"

Things might not change at all with Radcliffe in charge of the football side of the club but united fans can only live in hope
the closest i will ever come to playing for ireland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0_7w4JyvI4

Between 2012 and 2021, the total invested when you subtract dividends and interest payments stands at minus 154 million
