If he goes out of the CL or Europe altogether in midweek and gets hammered at Anfield, could that be him sacked?

Glazers will leave that decision down to INEOS whenever that deal gets finalised.

What's wrong with Luke Shaw?

I wouldn't even begin to suggest that he's part of any problem at United. At least he makes an effort unlike the likes of Martial and Rashford.

The rot started the minute they appointed Moyes.   In hindsight who should they have gotten back in 2013?

Im always banging on to my mates about Shaw. Like he can deliver a ball ok but thats where it ends. The End. Hes got nothing. Terrible defender. Gives the ball away a lot. No where near good enough for a team that sees itself the way UTD do. And what ibhave seen of Amrabat. Hold Lord. He looks like a guy that retired 2 years ago and is back for a charity match. Slow as fook. Woeful. That team and squad is so bad its not even funny.

They would have had a great record playing away from home

Rio was happy to avoid the Europa league so they can concentrate on the league

Concentrate on what exactly? Whether they finish 7th or 8th?

The culture at the club is rotten and Ferguson and Gill protected the glazers in their latter years.  The days of the dominant manager who does everything are long gone and as a result a decent organisation needs to be there behind  them with a consistent direction and philosophy and strategy regardless of who the manager is.  However they have gone from Moyes to Van Gaal to Jose to Ole and now Ten Haag with a few caretakers thrown in.  All different styles and all given loads of money which means the best manager inherits players not suited to the style.   It’s a shambles and a culture of chaos and lack of control exists there and the stadium is falling apart and training ground is 2nd rate.  A culture of bloated mediocrity and cliques and disregard for authority.  None of the utd players have left recently and did anything since.

To answe lr traps question The only manager that would have worked is probably Pep after Ferguson but he wouldn’t have gone as he knew Utd didn’t have the structures in place to accept the job.
