Even if you are somehow thick enough to ignore/justify the human rights farce, like those at City and Newcastle have shamlessly done with their respective regimes -

Its anti football at its core. Anti competition, anti fairness, it's so far from the original spirit of the game that it would hammer the final nail into the coffin. A premier league awaits where United, City and Newcastle battle it out in a dick measuring contest between 3 disgustingly corrupt countries as to who has the shinier toy.

United were the best placed team to stand up to this nonsense, and win things without being backed by a gulf state. If only they had owners that didnt actively cut them at the knees. Liverpool will always be able to point to a league and a champions league won in an era when one side, backed by reprehensible d*ckheads with infinite resources, cheated for over a decade. United probably wont have to do the cheating bit to win but any trophy won under Qatar would be hollow.

City and Newcastle were different imo they wouldn't have the massive revenue coming into the club like united so for them to compete at the upper end of the transfer market (Newcastle still to do so btw) they need their owners pumping massive amounts of money into the club united aren't in this position imo

100% spot on.

Check out the Premier League club owners funding in the last 10 years, this is why United fans want the Glazers gone it has f**k all to do with lack of success in recent years.

United don’t need to be State owned they need genuine owners who care about the club, the club earns enough through revenue to continue to compete with the Oil/State owned clubs.
That link is why Newcastle fans were so happy to get rid of Mike Ashley and take anyone, even horrific Saudis! The original comment from Ringerbell says Newcastle never had the revenue to compete. I don't know how old you lads are but from 95 to 05 Newcastle broke the world transfer record, reached a couple of cup finals and beat Barcelona in the champions league before a terrible club owner came in and rinsed the club dry, as opposed to the club not being able to compete financially.

The contrast between 1st half Fred and 2nd half Fred is something else. If he could play like he did in the second half all the time he'd be untouchable. LOL

Varane and Martinez are off the charts. Varane in particular is just in cruise control. Never looks like he even breaks sweat.

Absolute jokeshop

Casemiro is far better for a start! Secondly Casemiro is a proper defensive midfielder something United have needed for about 10 years.

It has been desperate stuff from United but this is an exciting transfer.

So was Varane and Sancho until they turned up to Old Trafford Graveyard. Signing Ronaldo ruined everything Solkjaer had done right.

They are a relegation team and Casemeiro will do f**k all to improve that
