Is Mike Dean not retired? He back just as VAR?
Serious amount of sh*te still in that United squad, McTominay and Dalot are championship players. They needed 8 or 9 signings and have made 3 so far.

Baffles me that the lad is still at Fulham, he's only 27 as well

Must be one of the biggest mysteries of the modern era in football.
How you can spend over a billion pounds on players in less than a decade and still end up with Dalot and McTominay on

A mess of a club and now look like making two more desperate signings in Arnautovic and Rabiot! Two bang average players.
Until the Glazers are removed as owners the football team will get absolutely nowhere.

With Chelsea selling for £4.25bn, unless someone is prepared to stump up £7bn(?), then United fans are stuck with them. |

And adding two players who are renowned for having high ego's doesn't seem like the best signings in the world

Was at game yesterday as well. Maguire such a poor reader of the game. Dalot can’t defend and can’t cross a ball, should get Laird a chance there. Erkissen still oozes class.

You can tell by watching him play that he's so anxious of being more than 10 yards from the edge of his box because he knows he doesn't have the recovery pace. His first instinct when a ball is played over the top is to throw the arm up and look at the linesman, rather than make a good attempt to recover. This effects every other aspect of his game, and those he plays alongside.

In fairness to Rabiot, while not everyones cup of tea, he's certainly got one thing going for him and that is, he's not Scott McTominay.
Likewise, Arnautovic is not Marcus Rashford! Edited by ShamtheRam - 08 Aug 2022 at 1:12pm |

Great entertainment all the same.
The thoughts of the Manchester derby must fill Utd fans with dread.

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

I think Rashford is a decent player he's just (like most at Man U) been badly coached the last 3 years. Also a lot criticism was thrown his way for his charity work for some mad reason.

The guy from Tifo did a great analysis on the game yesterday and pretty much said the exact same. Can't read the game, always allows an extra couple of yards because he is reacting to everything. There was one part yesterday, where he tried to win a free out, went to ground, then grabbed the ball and realised he was in his own box. It's like you can see the wheels turning with him.

Morbid curiosity makes me really want to see Rabiot and Arnautovic sign. Both very, very good players, but there are strong personalities at play too.

Add a Dutch manager to the mix and you have a combustible concoction.
