Neither likely to leave their clubs mid season.

Ten Hag will fancy a deep run in the CL and a league.
Pochettino will add a league to a CV without one if he sits tight and will still be in demand next Summer.

If they could persuade Luis Enrique to take it and allow him to keep managing Spain until the World Cup is over, he is probably the best manager they may have a chance of getting right now. And not have to wait until the Summer for.

If they go for Rodgers they may as well pack it in.

He will thrive in a clear system where he knows very clearly what to do and when, like he had at Dortmund.

It all depends on the manager now.

Ya there is no real obvious choice. Luis Enrique might be a good shout if he was available. Hasnt really been mentioned tho.

Poch & PSG would be open to him moving if the money was right, Poch has never been fully accepted at PSG, I think the move could suit all 3 parties. Money talks with Ajax, so no reason to rule out ETH

statement says they are looking for an interim manager until the end of the season. So any of those big names won’t be in the running until the end of the season.

The interim will probably be Carrick or Fletcher or Keane 😀😀😀😀

Pochettino's heart has never been in France. He was agitating to go back to England from the start.

IDK why he even accepted that job.

While that is probably true - At this point what is another few months for him, to get that League title on the CV.

United have nobody else to turn to so have to wait until the end of the season regardless. Even if he doesn't end up at United he will still be courted by top clubs once his time at PSG ends. There is no reason for him not to wait it out for another few months.

Give it to Ronaldo. He has managerial experience from managing United the last few months.

Really doesn’t seem like a good idea. As you say, if you get somebody from inside the camp to do the job, and then have an OGS baptism, there is ‘political’ pressure to stick with him.

OGS developed this weirdly arrogant streak in the last few months, and watching his team selections and the results it would suggest there was little to back it up. He has been given hundreds of million to build the team he wanted to and he leaves them out of the league cup, 12 points off top spot, and reliant on late Ronaldo goals to ensure they are still competitive in the CL. A small group of MU fans may rather the current status with “one of their own” in the hot seat but this has ended in disaster.

Ralf Rangnick as interim and then Ten Haag comes in as manager for next season with Rangnick becoming DOF?... One can dream.

Ole a class act. He'll always be a Legend.

I agree with this

For such a clueless manager who was the main reason they would never win anything despite spending more than most, he really had some arrogance

I don’t think it was arrogance, he was certainly overly sensitive to criticism but that’s more than likely deep down he knew there was truth in it

Today’s narrative from United men seems to be that hes left the club in a better position than he found them in

He’s left them in 8th
